College Benefits
Montgomery GI Bill
The Montgomery GI Bill is the largest of the programs that are in place to pay for college educations. It provides up to 36 months (4 years of school) worth of tuition at a cost of up to $47,556. So per month you could be looking at $1,321 just for going to school. This money is actually considered a veteran benefit, meaning its for your use after you decide to exit the Army. So no matter whether you gain much credit while your in (through classes or granted credits for training you receive) this money is waiting for you so you can further your education even more. It pays up to the master's degree level, so you can go as high as you wish here.
You can use this money at the college or university of your choice, just so long as it is an accredited school and your working towards a degree. As long as those two requirements are met you are free to pursue any educational goal you may have. Let us explain further to you how much an enlistment in the Army can mean to you in regards to paying for your education and getting you started towards your goals.
