It is common knowledge that you need a college education to get where you desire in life.  Most dream jobs require more than a high school diploma or GED in order to excell.  Not to mention, the salary you can expect to earn goes up in relation to how much education you have acquired.  The problem comes in when you consider the rising cost of getting that much needed college education.

There are of course many scholarships available along with grants and student loans.  If you are lucky enough to get a full ride scholarship you have a significant advantage to many of your peers.  If your looking more towards Pell Grants, which is a great program, you may not get enough to fully cover your tuition and will have to look for more ways to bridge the gap.  Student loans can of course cover you in the short term, but once you graduate you have to worry about paying that money back.  Then we also haven't even considered the many costs associated with college.  From the different fees you may come across, to having a place to live and something to eat, they can add up quickly and come from all directions.

Service in the US Army may just be the answer!

With numerous programs to help alleviate the cost of tuition service to country could just be the way to get the money for your education.  Along with numerous ways to pay for tuition you may also be able to gain college credit through training you receive while in the Army.
